leaders to the poles > overview
Beyond the Map©

Beyond the Map©  programme involves real leadership and team development challenges in one of the world's most unforgiving environments. Through calculated risk taking, Sean will extend your envelope of endurance, self-confidence, learning and initiative. The success of the mission will depend as much on self-belief as it will on teamwork. Join Sean on a journey beyond the edge of the map to the North and South Poles.

Beyond 89 North

The Beyond 89 North programme is an extraordinary learning adventure that requires team work, calculated risk taking, initiative and determination. Your journey begins in in Spitsbergen where you will undertake a short preparation expedition before being flown to a floating ice base at 89º North. From here you will embark on a 7-day ski journey, in -35°C temperatures negotiating 60 nautical miles of moving sea ice to the Top of the World.

Beyond 89 South

The Beyond 89 South programme is for you to experience the serious challenge of Antarctic exploration. During this incredible journey you will discover first hand leadership and team working challenges that faced the likes of Scott, Amundsen and Shackleton - lessons still relevant today. With personal development learning along the way you will travel by ski the last 60 nautical miles to the most southerly point on earth - the geographic South Pole.
